Branding Comparison

The Premier Inn is well established with its strong branding of purple as a trademark colour of their brand. I explored their branding across their website in order to look at what I could take as inspiration when it came to creating the interactive leaflet. The first thing I noticed when I went onto their website was their colouring technique. They use a white background to make it breathable, and clear for the reader. The soft blacks/grey they use for the wording so the text is not to strong on the eye. They had a strong purple banner which I have taken as inspiration as it allows a break between such a bold, block colour.

Premier inn also used a lot of opposite colours such as oranges, yellows and blue, cleverly used on boxes which lead you to booking a room or choosing a location. This is appealing to the user as the bold colour catch their eye.

I also looked into the Hub Hotel by Premier Inn app, the style of the design is a bright green on a charcoal grey background again, enhancing colour in their marketing. The app is extremely easy to use. The first page you are presented with 3 block pictures of the room and the two cities the hotel operates in, once clicking a city you then get forwarded to booking a room, the navigation technique in the app is very user friendly and simple to use. (below of myself navigating around the app below) they also use bright colours to emphasise the important information.
